A Plea For Purging - New Album/Interview!

Tennesee's own A Plea For Purging are close to releasing a new album via Facedown Records . "Depravity", to be released on 3.3.09 is the bands favorite album to date says Dozer, lead singer.

We caught up with the band at "The Strength Of The Hammer Fest" in Athens, AL organized by Ear Shot Promotions. This was a fund raiser for Habitat For Humanity and was attended by a crowd of approximately 600 kids. BandRescue interviewer Jon talks with Dozer and our video magic man, Scooter Johnson Productions filmed the interview and live footage, which you can view below.

This band is near and dear to us here at BandRescue.com. Speaking for myself, owner of BandRescue.com, it's no secret that they are my favorite band out there pounding the pavement. Their musicianship, character and wit make it easy for anyone to want to go to their shows and hang with them. We first interviewed the band back in 2007, you can see that interview HERE .

Since 2007 the band has had major success following several legit tours. Currently the band is on a headlining tour with THE GREAT COMMISSION and VENIA. Following this tour, they will jump on a short run of dates with FULL BLOWN CHAOS and SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY.
Next you can see them on the month long KING OF THE SPRING TOUR with FOR TODAY, RECON. and BROADCAST THE NIGHTMARE. In April they will stop off at their labels annual "Facedown Fest" at The Glass House, in Pomona, CA.
