{mosimage} BandRescue inteviewer Jon, along with professional videographer, Jon, of Scooter Johnson Productions, spent an evening in Auburn, Alabama at the 467 House. with LT. SNAKEBEARD , a Gadsden, Alabama based band.
LT. SNAKEBEARD is a five piece post-punk / rock band formed in late 2007 by Brad Norris (vocals), Mark Handy (bass) and Tim Hale (guitar), and later joined by Brad White (guitar) and David Follis (drums), As owner of BandRescue.com, I've personally met these guys and suffice it to say they are all quite talented with a style all their own. Tim Hale, guitarist, has written some acoustical numbers that will make you laugh until you cry. One in particular is about Tina Gordon, who was a Nascar driver sponsored by a furniture company and did a few cheesy TV commercials here in the South. BandRescue caught up with Tim one night at The Coffee Vine and you see that video here.
LT. SNAKEBEARD, in my opinion, is one of the best names out there for a band. It's a name I like to say. It looks good on fliers and would definitely make a great album cover. The bands official web site states:
"The band honed their musical sensibilities from late 90s screamy rock n roll but play with tight and aggressive rhythms that drive the songs forward. Lt. Snakebeard has played a number of shows in their homebase of Gadsden, Alabama, and has also played many other shows at some of region's premier venues. The band recorded their first song with a local up-and-coming recording engineer in mid 2008, and will be entering the studio in 2009 to record their debut full-length album."
BandRescue.com would like to thank our interviewer Jon and videographer, Jon of Scooter Johnson Productions for filming this show and interview. We would also like to thank LT SNAKEBEARD for hanging out and giving us this interview.
